MFTs (Multiple Flow-Throughs) are a revolutionary business structure that raises investment capital and provides secure tax savings for investors and developers. Axiom offers a turnkey solution for MFTs.
With our MFT, real estate developers and business owners can raise capital for multiple projects using a single MFT structure while keeping each project separate. It’s like having a dedicated MFT for each project.
Axiom’s MFT easily handles various funding needs, such as bridge capital for new projects, debt offerings, or hybrid returns combining interest and project sale profits.
One of the key advantages of MFTs is the ability to use registered funds like RRSPs and TFSAs. Canadians contribute billions of dollars into these accounts annually, making them attractive sources of private capital. Investors prefer using registered funds because they offer tax deferral or tax-free income.
MFTs also provide tax efficiency, benefiting both registered and cash investors. The flow-through nature of the MFT structure allows cash investors to receive capital gains from projects at a lower tax rate.
In summary, Axiom’s MFTs revolutionize fundraising and offer tax advantages by utilizing registered funds, providing a versatile solution for raising capital and maximizing returns for investors and developers alike.
